The GMT grapple saw mounted on an articulated crawler crane makes a versatile and stable unit for tree work on off-road and hard-to-reach areas.
The GMT grapple saw set for articulated crawler cranes consists of a GMT035 TTC or GMT050 TTC grapple saw including Total Tree Control brake system and quick hitch jib arm suitable for the articulated crawler cranes for Jekko, Palfinger or BG Lift.
Using the GMT quick hitch jib arm for crawler cranes, the GMT grapple saw can be easily hooked on to the crane. The crane’s four hydraulic connections ensure trouble-free operation of the grapple saw and TTC system.

Safe and secure with TTC
For articulated crawler cranes we advise a GMT grapple saw with the TTC-system. The GMT Total Tree Control braking system (TTC) enables you to lower the tree section in a fixed position after cutting. For a crawler crane an absolute must when trees are in an urban environment or in a difficult-to-reach position.
Easy hooking/unhooking with the Quick Hitch Jib
The grapple saw set for crawler cranes comes with a quick hitch jib arm, which makes hook on/of of the GMT grapple saw set very easy and allows the grapple saw to rotate and swivel freely 360 degrees in all positions. The GMT grapple saw fits all well-known articulated crawler cranes such as the crawler cranes from Palfinger, Jekko or BG Lift.
